Wellington is the perfect place for the equestrian enthusiast to live, play, work, & train. When you call Wellington home, you wake up to the ultimate equestrian lifestyle every day!
World-famous equestrian community and beautiful year-round weather
The Village of Wellington is a world-famous equestrian destination with a vibrant community and unparalleled opportunities for competitive riders.
Boasting beautiful year-round weather, Wellington is home to the largest horse show in the world, The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). There are few other equestrian communities more dedicated or tailored to the avid equestrian. As the exclusive real estate sponsor of WEF, we are passionate about the Wellington equestrian community and dedicated to the future of the horse show.
The showgrounds and stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center encompass more than 150 acres and are the centerpiece of the Wellington winter circuit. Every age and skill level is represented at WEF from leadline for the smallest competitor to Grand Prix show jumping, contested by riders from around the Globe. It is also home to the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF). At the showgrounds you can take part in the thrill of show jumping, the grace of the show hunters, and the elegance of dressage. Nearby, spectators can tailgate and stomp divots at the International Polo Club Palm Beach which hosts the world’s highest goal polo during the winter season. Wellington truly offers the ultimate equestrian lifestyle.
World-class golf, dining, shopping and cultural opportunities abound in Wellington and surrounding communities, including The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and The Norton Museum of Art in nearby West Palm Beach. Greater Wellington is home to the 1.3 million square foot Mall at Wellington Green. A day at the beach couldn’t be easier, with the Palm Beaches just a half hour’s drive due east or the glorious metropolis of Miami an hour to the south. And with the Everglades National Park nearby, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of adventure.
Wellington and the greater Palm Beach region has grown into a thriving seasonal community, not just for horse professionals, but also for amateur competitors and families who wish to immerse themselves in the best that the equestrian lifestyle has to offer. Wellington is a prime location for raising a family, with some of the highest rated schools in the state complemented by a community focused on recreation and overall health. It is easy to see why Wellington is recognized annually by Money Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Places to Live” in the United States.
