The 2nd Annual Central Park Horse Show will be held again this year from September 23rd – 27th in New York City!
The show offers a variety of spectating competitions, kicking off with the US Open Arabian competition on 9/23, and will continue to showcase talent each day with US Open Grand Prix show jumpers, US Open Dressage Grand Prix, The US Open $210,000 FEI 3* Grand Prix Presented by Rolex and US Open Hunters Duchossois Cup for Pony, Junior/Amateur and Professionals.
Mark Bellissimo, CEO of International Equestrian Group, LLC, who organizes WEF and who also owns The Chronicle of the Horse, has organized this second annual event brilliantly and plans on continued expansion of sponsorship and a sold out crowd, all of which will contribute towards charitable contributions from the show. Equestrian superstar show jumper and native New Yorker, Georgina Bloomberg, hopes to return to the show to claim her second victory in The US Open $210,000 FEI 3* Grand Prix, presented by Rolex.
“The Rolex Central Park Horse Show made a spectacular debut and is poised for an even greater year as we introduce the US Open for Equestrian Sport. We will be welcoming more equestrian disciplines to the heart of New York City as a showcase for equestrian sport in the United States,” said Mark Bellissimo CEO of International Equestrian Group, LLC (IEG).
“Showcasing the many facets of the horse world in the heart of New York City is an exciting endeavor for us and the equine industry in general,” he added. “We are also very proud to continue our relationship with NBC Sports and we will be broadcasting the event to horse enthusiasts across the nation and the world.”
